Paint protection film — also called PPF or clear bra — is a transparent, self-healing urethane film applied directly to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It absorbs the damage your paint would otherwise take: rock chips, gravel spray, bug acids, bird droppings, and light scratches. Minor swirls and scuffs disappear on their own with heat from the sun or warm water.

At Exotic Window Tint, packages start at $1,200 for Partial Front coverage and go up to $6,000 for Entire Vehicle in XPEL Ultimate Plus or $6,500 in XPEL Stealth. Paint protection film is a physical barrier — a thick urethane film that absorbs rock chips, road debris, and scratches before they reach your paint. Ceramic coating is a chemical bond that repels water, contaminants, and UV rays but won’t stop a rock chip. They complement each other: many clients apply ceramic coating over their PPF for maximum protection and easier maintenance.

Neither film should show edges, bubbles, or distortion when installed correctly. We use computer-cut patterns and wrapped edges to eliminate visible film lines.
Installation time depends on coverage. A Partial Front package typically takes one day. Full Front runs one to two days. A Full Vehicle installation on a standard car takes three to five days — more on complex exotics with tight panel gaps and intricate body lines. Yes. XPEL film is designed to be removable without damaging the factory paint underneath, provided the paint is in good condition and the film hasn’t been left on for an excessive period. Removal is typically done with heat and takes a few hours depending on coverage. We recommend having it removed by a professional rather than attempting it yourself.
